The North Golf Course is a beautiful 18 hole course designed by John Cooper, and built in 1963. Beautiful South Fork divides and borders the entire course and adds scenic views to
the challenging play.
Generally reserved for Cherokee Village Property Owners and guests only, the North Course offers beautiful surroundings and challenges that
include both sand and water. The bermuda fairways and bent greens are always in great shape.
GOLF DIGEST in its 1996-97 edition of "Places to Play" selected this course as the second highest rated course in Arkansas. Here are some excerpts from the Golf Digest article:
