Cherokee Village Scenes - A rare but beautiful ice storm

This is what Cherokee Village residents woke up to December 5, 2002, when a rare ice storm hit the area. Almost all of these photos were taken just as the sun was rising. Plan your retirement in this 13,000+ acre fresh mountain air community and you will see gorgeous scenes like these very rarely. It's usually a lot greener than this - but we were awestruck by the beauty!
