As a Cherokee Village property owner you are entitled to a Cherokee Village "Owner's Card" so you can use the facilities even if you are not a village resident.
If you are buying a SunSpring Cherokee Village lot on time, we can arrange to get a guest pass for you and your family before you have your SunSpring loan paid out! You'll then have access to the seven lakes, the river, two golf courses, marinas, recreation centers, swimming pools, campground, and other facilities in 13,000+ acre Cherokee Village for quality vacations.
Fast pontoon boats, and
fishing boats and gear are available for rent on Lake Thunderbird all summer long. While you're at the marina, be sure to spend a dime for a cup of dogfood, drop it in the water, and watch what

As an absentee property owner you can rent a fully-furnished house on a lake by the day or week (book well ahead), or park your rv or tent at the campground right
in the village, and use all the facilities as if you were a resident.
You are entitled to a Cherokee Village owner's card if you already have the deed to your lot. Take a copy of your SunSpring deed with you to the Surburban Improvement District (SID) Office in Cherokee Village to get your card.
If you are buying a Cherokee Village lot from SunSpring Properties and your loan is current, with no unpaid late fees, we can arrange a guest
pass for you and your family to use the village facilities.
Here's how to get your SunSpring Guest Pass:
1. Make sure your loan payments, late fees, property taxes etc. are paid up to date.
2. Three weeks before you plan to visit, email us with the following information:
a) the exact dates you will be here.
b) your name and the names and age of every person who will be travelling with you to Cherokee Village.
We will put a SunSpring Guest Pass in the mail to you.
3. Bring the pass with you, you will need to show it to access the recreation centers, swimming pools, golf courses etc. and will need to have it on hand if you are asked to show it by city police or SID or volunteer staff while using the lakes. (Owners and guests are charged a nominal fee for the use of some of the facilities. Private boats need to have a Cherokee Village sticker.)
