There are other campgrounds, motels, and bed and breakfast homes in this area. There are also a few furnished homes and cottages for rent on a daily basis (about $80 and
up per night) on the Cherokee Village lakes. They book quite fast in the summer months so make your reservation in advance. Ask us for a referral to a rental agent if you are interested in daily
house rentals.
If you are flying, there is an airport in Cherokee Village, but no scheduled commercial service yet. Your best bet is to fly into either Memphis, Tennessee, or Little Rock, Arkansas and rent a car there for the 140 mile drive from either city. Check the cost of flights into both cities to get the least expensive airfare, it can vary a lot day by day. There is a also a commercial airport at Springfield, Missouri, about 150 miles away.
